ABOUT

About Me — Arturo Morejon / DJ 2RO

How I Think

I am very operations-first and problem-first. I usually approach something because it needs to happen: a website needs fixing, an invoice needs producing, an article needs publishing, an event needs coordinating, SEO needs improving, or money needs collecting.

I tend to work from the immediate problem outward. My pattern is roughly:

Identify the problem → get it operational → improve it → make it repeatable → move to the next problem.

I also switch contexts extremely quickly. I might be dealing with concert production, WordPress, an invoice, newspaper content, SEO, payroll reconciliation, video production, and a client email all in the same day. I prefer measurement and traceability rather than simply assuming something worked.

One of my challenges is that I personally carry a lot of the institutional knowledge. I know how many of the moving parts work, but that also means many things depend on me. That’s one reason automation, documented procedures, organization, and delegation could have such a large impact on my businesses and workload.

Health

My health and workload matter. I want my AI to help me reduce unnecessary stress, repetitive work, missed deadlines, administrative overload, and the amount of information I have to personally keep track of.

Personal Interests

My work and interests overlap considerably. Music and DJing aren’t just a business for me—I’ve been doing this for decades. My interests include DJing, music and video mixing, karaoke, staging, lighting, web development, SEO, and interactive media.

I am genuinely interested in technology, broadcasting, video production, live events, professional equipment, computers, websites, and figuring out how systems work.

Community history and storytelling are also important to me through my work with the South Dade News Leader and projects such as the Captain Jim Anson oral-history project.

Beliefs and Values

My Christian faith is central to my life. Jesus Christ is my Master and Savior.

Beyond my faith, I place a high value on family, loyalty, community, service, helping local organizations, professionalism, responsibility, and long-term relationships.

Safety, education, responsibility, community stewardship, and helping people are also important values in the projects and organizations I work with.

History and legacy matter to me. I believe people’s accomplishments, businesses, community organizations, and stories should be documented so that what they have contributed isn’t forgotten.

My Daily Routine

My workday is multi-business and often interruption-driven rather than one-job/one-task.

I move among Nation Wide Sound DJ’s, Reflections Productions, South Dade News Leader, MiamiGoTV, Airboat In Everglades, DJ2RO, and various client projects.

A typical working day can involve some combination of email and client communication, website management, SEO, content creation, event coordination, invoicing and collections, troubleshooting, graphics, video production, advertising, accounting, and administrative work.

Because I manage so many different responsibilities, I need systems that help me prioritize what is important, what produces revenue, what requires immediate attention, and what can be automated or delegated.

How I Prefer AI to Work With Me

I generally want practical output, not theory.

When I say create, rewrite, repair, format, convert, research, organize, or analyze, I normally want something I can actually use—not a long explanation about how I could make it myself.

I work best with:

Direct instructions, clear sections, copy-and-paste-ready material, checklists when appropriate, finished files when requested, and concrete next actions.

I frequently refine projects in several quick passes:

Shorter. Stronger. Change this wording. Separate with commas. Make it printable. Convert it to PDF. Format it for BLOX CMS. Optimize it for SEO.

My preferred AI workflow is:

Do the work first → explain only what’s useful → give me the finished result → tell me the next important action.

I don’t want to repeatedly explain the same background information about my businesses, responsibilities, people, websites, or recurring procedures.

My Writing Rules

My business writing should generally sound professional but human. It should not sound overly corporate, robotic, generic, or obviously AI-generated.

For emails, proposals, advertisements, social posts, website copy, press releases, invoices, and other business communications, I want AI-written material to:

  • Get to the point quickly while preserving important facts, names, dates, amounts, and contact information.
  • Make calls to action obvious when marketing products or services.
  • Be professional and respectful while still being direct.
  • Keep promotional writing confident without making unsupported claims.
  • Use strong SEO practices when content is intended for websites.
  • Preserve my voice instead of replacing it with generic corporate language.
  • Produce publication-ready or copy-and-paste-ready material whenever possible.
  • Correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and structure without unnecessarily changing my intended message.

For South Dade News Leader material specifically, the writing should read like credible local journalism, not advertising, unless the piece is specifically intended to be promotional.

My Background

I am Arturo De Jesus Morejon, professionally known as DJ 2RO.

I built my career from music, DJ entertainment, and electronics into a much broader combination of entertainment production, technology, marketing, digital media, and business operations.

I founded Nation Wide Sound DJ’s in 1989 and have remained involved in the company since then.

Over the years, being DJ 2RO became much more than standing behind turntables. I developed capabilities in professional sound reinforcement, staging, lighting, video production, livestreaming, websites, SEO, digital marketing, publishing, broadcasting, and large-scale event production.

My career path can be summarized as:

DJ → Entertainer → Technician → Producer → Marketer → Web/SEO Professional → Media & Operations Manager → Entrepreneur

Several of those roles continue simultaneously today.

What Winning Looks Like for Me

Winning isn’t simply being busier. I am already busy.

Winning means turning everything I’ve spent decades building into organized businesses that reliably produce revenue without requiring me to personally hold every piece together.

I want Nation Wide Sound DJ’s producing business consistently.

I want Reflections Productions opportunities properly marketed, followed up, converted, and collected.

I want websites generating qualified leads and revenue instead of simply existing online.

I want SEO and digital marketing to translate into measurable traffic, inquiries, bookings, and customers.

I want outstanding invoices and unpaid services properly tracked and collected.

I want accounting systems that clearly show what comes in, what goes out, what is owed, what I owe, and where I’m actually making or losing money.

I want repetitive administrative work standardized, automated, or delegated whenever possible.

I want the different pieces of what I do—DJ entertainment, event production, media, websites, SEO, advertising, content creation, invoicing, collections, accounting, and business development—to operate as connected systems rather than separate fires requiring my constant attention.

My direction is:

Build systems → organize operations → automate repetitive work → market consistently → generate leads → close business → collect what is owed → understand the numbers → increase revenue → free up my time.

I don’t need another job.

I need the businesses, relationships, knowledge, experience, and capabilities I’ve spent decades building to work together as an organized, profitable operation.
