My name is Arturo De Jesus Morejon – widely known as DJ 2RO – is a South Florida-based DJ, entrepreneur, livestream producer, web designer, and digital creator. A true multi-hyphenate, DJ 2RO wears many hats, shifting seamlessly between music, media, and tech—often in the same day.
He launched Nation Wide Sound DJ’s in 1989 at just 12 years old while attending Campbell Drive Middle School. With his father’s early support and a relentless passion for music, DJ 2RO quickly transformed a weekend hustle into a full-fledged brand. Since then, he has built a diverse portfolio spanning DJ services, full concert production, website development, and livestream engineering.
From performing live and producing events alongside industry veterans like Thomas Mitchell at Reflections Productions, to managing digital experiences for businesses like Airboat In Everglades, DJ 2RO’s career has been shaped by curiosity, grit, and adaptability. It was during his time at Airboat In Everglades that he self-taught HTML and began offering web services—expanding his expertise into digital infrastructure and branding.
Today, DJ 2RO continues to lead with innovation, blending entertainment and technology to deliver impactful experiences. His understanding of scheduling, systems, and creativity allows him to juggle complex projects while maintaining a personal touch that sets him apart.
With decades of experience behind him and a forward-thinking mindset, DJ 2RO isn’t just keeping up—he’s setting the pace. Whether on stage, online, or behind the scenes, his mission remains the same: to elevate every experience and empower those around him.
What’s Been the Best Source of New Clients for Me?
The best source of new clients for me has always been word-of-mouth and real relationships. Nothing beats the power of people sharing their experience with someone they trust. Whether it’s someone who heard me rock a set at Super Wheels, saw my production work at an event, or had a website built and hosted by me—they tell others. And that personal recommendation goes further than any ad ever could.
Social media has also been a game changer—especially Instagram and YouTube. Posting behind-the-scenes content, livestream clips, concert setups, or just honest storytelling helps people connect with what I do and how I do it. People want to see the face behind the service.
Then there’s return clients—those are the gold. Once someone works with me and sees the level of commitment, quality, and creativity I bring, they usually come back for more and refer others. Whether it’s a DJ gig, a livestream, or a full-blown concert production—they know they’re getting more than just a service, they’re getting partnership.
So if I had to sum it up:
✅ Word-of-mouth
✅ Returning clients
✅ Social presence and reputation
✅ Authentic relationships
A Season of Restoration: DJ 2RO’s Testimony
In 2017, I faced one of the darkest chapters of my life—a personal battle with addiction that shook the very foundation of who I was. I lost my connection with Jesus Christ, and in doing so, I sent waves of concern and heartbreak through my closest family and friends. Every day felt like a spiral, and my future felt uncertain, even to me.
But God is great. Everything I thought I had lost—He restored, and then some.
I spent nine months in a rehabilitation program, completely broke, but spiritually starving for something real. That’s when I found the Holy Ghost, and everything began to change. My time at The Home of the Nazarene wasn’t just recovery—it was rebirth. It taught me that everything else can wait—because if I’m not okay, nothing I do will be either.
With the love of God and the support of those who believed in me, I was able to rebuild—not just my career, but my soul. Super Wheels Skating Center, Airboat In Everglades, and my sons stepping up to continue the DJ business all became pillars in God’s plan to create a blanket of security around me.
Today, I wish i could say I don’t take a single blessing for granted. I walk in purpose, powered by the same Spirit that saved me. I’ve come full circle—not just as an artist and entrepreneur, but as a man of faith, humility, and vision.
